Agnès Dherbeys

Agnès Dherbeys (1977), è una fotografa francese con base a Bangkok. Le sue fotografie colgono, in tutte le loro implicazioni, i dettagli più minuti della vita quotidiana in Nepal, a Timor Est, in Cambogia e Tailandia. Nel 2005 ha ottenuto la borsa di studio per la fotografia della Fondazione Lagardère e nel 2007 vince il il secondo premio nella categoria “Spot News” del World Press Photo. Nel 2008 viene selezionata per il Joop Swart Masterclass e per il settimo Mentors Program dell’Agenzia VII. Nel 2011 le viene assegnato il Robert Capa Gold Medal Awards per il suo lavoro sugli scontri in Talilandia per “images close-up, powerful and direct…an emotional rendering of the chaotic and dangerous scenes around her.” – Overseas Press Club of America.
